Frequently asked questions about the use of cardio-information products.
What is a cardiac information product (KIP)?
KIP is a file, when used, there is a targeted
influence on the function of a selected organ or system of the body through
breathing.
What types of instrumentation are there?
Today there are two types of cardio information
products.
- Respiratory
- Frequency
What is the operating principle of each type of
instrumentation?
Respiratory instrumentation influences the functioning
of the heart, and through it, other organs and systems, through a certain
pre-calculated breathing algorithm. Frequency instrumentation influences the
functioning of the heart through the characteristics of the physiological
functions of the brain. You can read more about this in the article “What are
KPIs and how do they work?”
How are KIP-D and KIP-CH prescribed?
KIP-D is assigned based on the analysis of the user’s
biomedical information stored in the Association’s database. The user can
independently order the selected instrumentation-D, but still the Doctor-Expert
will double-check the feasibility of using the ordered product using the
available medical and biological information.
KIP-Ch is prescribed based on an analysis of the
user’s current electrocardiogram and is always individual.
In what format do KIPs exist?
Practice has shown that it is most convenient for
KIP-D to use a file in MP4 format, and KIP-CH in MP3 format.
Is it possible to combine KIP-D and KIP-CH?
Yes. And this, for the most part, has an even stronger
effect.
What's the point in all this, doesn't the body itself
know how to control itself?
Knows and controls. But we must remember that with age
the regulation function weakens and reserves are depleted. And if you don’t
train the function, the reserves will never increase.
Principle: without training a function, there is no
increase in the reserve of an organ or system. Therefore, some choose the
natural decrease in reserve with age without training it, while others train
the function by increasing the reserve. Everyone has their own choice. One of
the goals of the Association is to control, train and increase the health
reserve.
Where is the best
place to use breathing training using KIPs?
Optimally - on the street, or at home with an open
window.
When is the best
time to exercise?
KIP-D is recommended to be practiced 2 hours after
meals, or on an empty stomach.
KIP-CH during the day at a
time convenient to your daily routine.
Which position
should you choose for training?
Choose a comfortable position that is available to you
at the moment.
How to evaluate and
see the effect of a training program?
Increasing the body's reserves is achieved in one
single way - training the function of the system. Therefore, to achieve the
best results, regular training is important, 15 minutes a day minimum, more
optimally 15 minutes 2 times a day. With subsequent ECG processing, an increase
in functional reserves in the given systems will be visible.
Is it possible to
safely combine breathing exercises (KIP-D) with other things?
Yes, if these things do not require physical effort
that would interfere with the performance of breathing exercises. But still,
practicing with your eyes closed and concentrating on the process is considered
the most effective.
How to combine
breathing exercises with sports and other physical activity?
As for sports or other activities, the order is not
particularly important here; it is important to pause to restore breathing and
heartbeat.
Is it possible to
combine breathing practices using KIPs with other breathing exercises, for
example, according to Frolov or Strelnikova?
Yes, there are no contraindications to this, but it is
worth scheduling these practices at different times of the day. And in
addition, it should be taken into account that KIPs are specific and are aimed
specifically at training the functional system that is specified by the Expert
Doctor.
How long can you
train?
The optimal time for beginners has already been set -
it’s about 7 minutes in breathing instruments. You can easily change this by
running the file again. But to begin with, it is recommended to train no more
than 15 minutes in one session. If you spend less than 3 minutes training, you
don’t need to really count on results from it. KIP-CH are constructed in such a
way that it can simply be background sound or accompanying sound during the
performance of general and local health-improving techniques.
How to take the
“correct” breath?
Inhalation consists of three stages that smoothly flow
into one another.1. First, fill the lower sections of your lungs with air. At
the same time, the stomach protrudes, but the shoulders remain motionless.2.
Then inhale through the middle sections. The chest will expand.3. Finally, fill
the upper sections of your lungs with air. The collarbones rise up.
How to properly hold your breath while inhaling?
Before holding your breath while inhaling, fill 90-95%
of the air with air to prevent dizziness. If it's more convenient, you can
close your nostrils with your fingers.
How to exhale correctly?
Exhalation is carried out in the reverse order to
inhalation. That is, we first release air from the upper parts of the lungs,
then from the middle ones, and finally from the lower ones, contracting the
abdominal muscles.
How to hold while exhaling?
Do not hold your breath while exhaling completely, but
leave the same amount of air in your lungs as during normal exhalation, that
is, 5-10%. In the last second of the delay, exhale the rest forcefully.
Why do you recommend
this order of inhalation and exhalation? I've read that it should be the other
way around.
There are at least 4 different opinions about the way the chest and abdominal
muscles move during breathing practices, and each opinion has its own “correct
view” on this matter. The Association recommends that it be based on the ECG
biofeedback method. If during assessment biofeedback
will result in an unsatisfactory growth of functional reserves for you
personally, we will adapt the training to the needs of your body.
Which is better to
breathe - through the nose or mouth?
Unless otherwise indicated in the breathing training
description, inhale through the nose only and exhale through the nose or mouth,
as you choose. When exhaling through your mouth, it is good to form your lips
into a tube, but this is not necessary.
What are the
recommendations and contraindications for working with instrumentation devices
during pregnancy?
Pregnancy itself does not mean that some physical
activity is contraindicated for you, including working with instrumentation
devices. Other factors play a big role here: your physical and psycho-emotional
components, current lung capacity, and the expected effect of training.
Therefore, if, in general, you are healthy, lead a relatively active lifestyle
and feel well, you can practice the CIP recommended to you by your Medical
Expert. If you have any doubts, please re-consult with an Expert Physician
regarding your concerns. Also make sure that you do not get too carried away
with the breath-holding phases (inhalation and exhalation). If and when you do
them, you can it is normal to feel that the baby is pushing during the training
session, as the child is actively moving to get more oxygen.
